Warm-Up Exercises to Release Stress

But before we start, there are three important steps before you begin. First, make yourself as comfortable as possible. Second, clear your mind. And third, concentrate on your breathing. Here are the following warm-up exercises:

■ Sit on a chair; or sit cross legged on the floor with your eyes closed.

Calm your mind.

Put your palms together and rub them up and down until they feel warm.

As you inhale through your nose, reach your right hand over your head as if you are trying to pic an apple from a tree. Place your left hand under your right breast with the palm facing up. Then, exhale through your mouth while bringing your hands back together.

So you may apply these exercises to make yourself stress free and no matter what method you use don't force it, not unless you have proper instructions for a particular exercise specify otherwise.  Your breathing should be calm, deep, slow and rhythmic-and as relaxed as your body and mind are.

Life's Twist and Shout

It's about time that I have to take a visit with my blog. I've been very busy for the past couple of months. I have not updated my blog since then. Hmmm, I know I've missed a whole lot of things in this blog world. Well, I'm just so happy that finally I allow myself to trust joy and embrace it.

Kids dance to any music that moves them, unlike adults who often have to be dragged onto a dance floor. They can be so self-conscious about how they look that they forget how great dancing feels. I tell you it feels good, it stimulates your body mood-lifting. It's one great exercise and to release all the stress and tensions that bothers you then. It's also a one way of expressing your self out.

Who knew that having so much fun could actually be good for you!
